Everyone gathered back in the command room once we were all clean and dressed. Alton had an apron on and was pouring glasses of water for everyone. Terra, Aeris, and Shadow were all avoiding eye contact with each other, but Pyra looked completely at ease.

“We will definitely have to do that again!” said Pyra, grinning at the rest of us at the table.

“I do not know what you are referring to,” said Aeris with a look of complete innocence on her face as she tinkered with a small device on the table.

“Are you serious? After mating with a male and three other females at the same time, you still can’t talk about anything sexual?” said Pyra.

“S-stop saying such dirty things in front of Alton! He is very delicate and innocent, like me. He does not need to hear about such things,” said Aeris, her face turning red. Alton brought a tray of water over to the table, not looking phased at all.

“HERE ARE THE WATERS FOR ALTON’S FRIENDS,” said Alton as he put them on the table.

“Thanks, Alton,” I said, taking a glass from his tray. “I’m glad to see you’re doing better.”

“ALTON IS VERY WELL NOW, THANK YOU. WOULD YOU LIKE CEREAL WITH THAT?”

“Uhh, no, thanks. I’ll find something else to eat,” I said, assuming that Alton’s cereal would taste similar to the kind that Aeris made. “Hey, Aeris, what does Alton use for fuel, anyway?”

“Electricity,” said Aeris, not looking up from the device she was working on. “I stopped by a power plant last night to charge him up. It only got him to eighty percent of his full charge, but it should last him for a while.”

“A power plant? Wait, how much electricity did he take?” I said.

“Huh? All of it, why?” said Aeris, blinking at me.

“ALTON WAS THIRSTY,” said Alton, his face clicking into a happy expression.

“He drained an entire power plant?” I said, looking at him in disbelief.

“Well, yeah. He was thirsty. And these Earth power plants only have a little bit of charge, anyway. Your people seem to only partially understand how to generate electricity.”

I pulled out my phone and went to the internet. Sure enough, I saw a headline that read “Rural Power Plant Attacked by UFO.”

“Great…” I said, looking at video footage of Alton falling out of our ship with his umbrella and landing on the power plant, practically destroying it in the process.

“Look, Alton! You’re famous!” said Aeris with a big smile as she pointed at my phone. Alton walked over and put his hands against his face when he saw himself on my phone.

“ALTON WILL TRY NOT TO LET THIS GO TO HIS HEAD, BUT IT IS DIFFICULT.”

“You just do what you can,” said Aeris, patting him on the back. “I am so proud of you!”

“Here, eat this,” said Terra, handing me what looked like a granola bar. It tasted like chocolate chip cookies and was extremely filling.

“This is super good,” I said, eating the whole thing in three bites.

“It is dense with nutrients and will help with your energy.
